Terms of Service

The rules for using shipped.tools.

Last updated August 21, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Shipped at shipped.tools (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Shipped is a web app for organizing side projects and ideas. You can keep items private, share an unlisted link, or publish them publicly. Features may change as the product evolves.

Accounts

You sign in with GitHub. You are responsible for your GitHub account and for activity that happens under your Shipped account. You must provide accurate information and keep access to your GitHub account secure.

Your content

You retain ownership of the projects, ideas, text, links, icons, and other material you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and otherwise use Your Content only as needed to operate the Service, including showing public or unlisted items according to the visibility you choose.

You are responsible for Your Content. Do not upload or publish material you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for anything illegal
  • Attempt to access other users’ private data or disrupt the Service
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Use the Service to spam, scrape at unreasonable volume, or abuse infrastructure

Integrations

Dashboard links you save (such as PostHog, Stripe, or Google Analytics URLs) are stored as links you provide. Shipped does not log into those products on your behalf. Access to those tools remains subject to their own terms.

Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will never be lost. You should keep your own copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero, if the Service is free).

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. After termination, public pages may no longer show your content, and we may delete Your Content as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
