This Privacy Policy describes how Shipped (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use shipped.tools (the “Service”).
Information we collect
We collect the following information:
- Account information. When you sign in with GitHub, we receive your GitHub account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. You may also set a public username on Shipped.
- Content you create. This includes projects, ideas, descriptions, links, stack tags, platforms, status, visibility, and dashboard URLs you add (for example PostHog, Stripe, or Google Analytics links). We store those URLs as content you entered. We do not connect to those products with your credentials or pull data from them.
- Project icons. If you upload an icon, we store the image file so it can be shown on your project.
- Session information. We keep a session so you stay signed in. That may include a session token, IP address, and browser user agent.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Provide the Service, including your private HQ and public pages you choose to share
- Authenticate you through GitHub
- Operate, secure, and debug the Service
- Respond to requests you send us
We do not sell your personal information.
Public content
Projects and ideas default to private. If you set a project or idea to public, or you set a username, that content can appear on public pages such as the homepage, project and idea directories, and your builder profile. Unlisted items can be viewed by people who have the link. Do not mark something public if you do not want it visible on the internet.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage that are required to keep you signed in and operate the Service. We do not use advertising cookies.
Service providers
We rely on third parties to run Shipped:
- GitHub for sign-in. GitHub’s handling of your account is described in GitHub’s own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare to host the Service, store data, and deliver project icons. Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses as part of providing that infrastructure.
- Google Fonts to load the Inter typeface used on the site.
Retention and deletion
We keep your account and content while your account is active. If you want your account and associated data deleted, contact us through Discord. We will delete your account data except where we must keep limited records for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
